Trivia Questionâť“

In Irvington, New Jersey, what famous baseball player was born in 1925 and went on to become the first African-American player in Major League Baseball?

Answer at the bottom of the newsletter

Irvington, New Jersey is waking up to a brief spell of light snow this morning, though only minor accumulation is expected.

The aftermath of the recent blizzard still lingers, with significant snow and ice creating treacherous surfaces as temperatures remain near freezing.

Black ice poses an ongoing risk for both drivers and pedestrians, making extra caution essential during the morning rush.

A warming trend is on the horizon as the weekend approaches, bringing highs in the low 50s by Saturday.

This rise in temperature is likely to help melt lingering ice and snow across the area.

Still, overnight cooling could quickly refreeze melted areas, leaving behind hidden patches of hazardous black ice.

Monitor local forecasts and plan ahead to stay safe as Irvington navigates this unpredictable weather.
